Los resultados fueron la ansiedad tiene una correlación positiva moderada con la depresión (Rho= 0,503); la ansiedad tiene una correlación negativa baja con la adherencia terapéutica (Rho= -0,282); Además la depresión tiene una correlación negativa muy baja con la adherencia terapéutica (Rho = -0,156); además la adherencia cumple un rol moderado en cuanto a la ansiedad y depresión (β=-0.664); concluyendo que existe un rol moderador de la adherencia al tratamiento en la ansiedad y depresión; por tanto si se mejora la adherencia al tratamiento de los pacientes diabéticos disminuirá la ansiedad y depresión.
