El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la relación entre la gestión turística municipal y desarrollo sostenible en el distrito de San Jerónimo, Andahuaylas, Apurímac – 2023. La investigación fue de tipo básico, con diseño no experimental, de corte transversal, correlacional. La población estuvo constituida por individuos de un gobierno local. La muestra estuvo formada por 100 funcionarios. La técnica utilizada para la recolección de información fue la encuesta y el instrumento fue el cuestionario, la misma que para medir gestión turística municipal estuvo conformado por 20 ítems, mientras para medir la variable desarrollo sostenible por 20 ítems. Se utilizó el software estadístico SPSS versión 25 para procesar los datos. Los resultados de la investigación determinaron que la variable gestión turística municipal se relaciona directa y significativamente con la variable desarrollo sostenible con un coeficiente de correlación de Rho Spearman de 0, 774** con un valor calculado de 0.000 lo que permitió la comprobación de la hipótesis planteada concluyendo que la relación entre las variables es positiva muy alta.
