description La presente investigación titulada: El presupuesto participativo: Caso municipalidad distrital de Comas, 2019, tuvo como objetivo general explicar cómo es el proceso del presupuesto participativo en la municipalidad distrital de Comas, 2019. El método empleado fue inductivo, de nivel descriptivo, de enfoque cualitativo. Se realizó una investigación con estudio de caso, relacionada con personas vinculadas directamente al presupuesto participativo del municipio de Comas. Se entrevistó cuatro de ellos realizando una selección intencionada a criterio del investigador. La técnica empleada para recolectar información fue entrevista estructurada y el instrumento de recolección de datos fueron guía de preguntas que permitió identificar la problemática del presupuesto participativo en el distrito de Comas el 2019. Se llegó a la siguiente conclusión que ante los 246 agentes participantes el 2019, se muestra una implementación del Presupuesto Participativo pertinente con optimismo y compromiso, sin embargo, hay necesidad de implementar mecanismos donde se dé mayor apertura a los ciudadanos que quieran participar del proceso para que decidan sobre las necesidades en favor de su distrito.
