description La presente tesis tiene como eje principal a Población adulta mayor, su crecimiento poblacional estadístico por sectores, los programas a los que pertenecen, la situación de calle en la que algunos se encuentran y a la implementación del proyecto que pretende integrar y mejorar la calidad de vida de la población en estudio y que serviría como modelo para futuros centros de atención residencial en otros distritos. La investigación se encuentra bajo los lineamientos de historia, conservación, arquitectura y es de carácter social; ubicándose en Barrios Altos, en el distrito de Cercado de Lima. Este proyecto busca dar solución a la problemática otorgando un espacio adecuado, para el adulto mayor, el mismo que cual cumpla con los requerimientos mínimos para su albergue, atención y recreación, creando un ambiente familiar lleno de confort, y así su tiempo de permanencia le otorgue calidad de vida.
