description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre control interno y gestión municipal en la Municipalidad Provincial de Casma, 2020. El diseño de la investigación fue no experimental de corte transversal, tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básica y con un nivel descriptivo correlacional, el método empleado fue hipotético – deductivo. La población fue de 60 trabajadores y la muestra fue censal por ende fueron los 60 trabajadores. La técnica aplicada fue la encuesta y el instrumento un cuestionario que tuvo una escala ordinal de tipo Likert, este fue validado por un juicio de expertos, asimismo tuvo una confiabilidad con un coeficiente de Alfa de Cronbach de 0,947 para control interno (muy alta) y de 0,881 para gestión municipal (muy alta). Finalmente, se concluye que existe una relación significativa entre control interno y gestión municipal en la Municipalidad Provincial de Casma, 2020 según el Rho de Spearman=0,789 (correlación positiva considerable). Por lo tanto, si hay un manejo adecuado del control interno, esto contribuirá con la mejorará de la gestión municipal.
