description El presente estudio respondió a la pregunta de investigación ¿Cuál es la relación entre participación ciudadana y seguridad ciudadana en el Barrio de San Cristóbal del Cusco, 2022? tiene como objetivo general determinar la relación entre la participación ciudadana y la seguridad ciudadana en el Barrio de San Cristóbal del Cusco, 2022, el enfoque fue cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental y corte transversal. Para lo cual se aplicó dos cuestionarios de escala de likert que se tomó a 152 participantes consta de 18 preguntas, fue construida y validada por tres juicios de expertos. Se aplico el estadígrafo no paramétrico Rho de Spearman, quien determino que existe relación positiva y alta entre participación ciudadana y seguridad ciudadana del Barrio de San Cristóbal del Cusco. Por lo tanto, se rechazó la hipótesis nula esto significa que a mayor participación ciudadana mayor será la relación de la seguridad ciudadana, para ello es fundamental potenciar y fortalecer los lazos entre las instituciones y los vecinos del barrio San Cristóbal para recuperar la confianza, promover el trabajo en equipo e implementar medidas para reducir la criminalidad y mejorar la calidad de vida de la comunidad.
