En la investigación se planteó el siguiente problema: ¿La fijación de la reparación civil resulta inconsistente frente al daño causado en los Juzgados Penales de Sullana? Se utilizó la investigación básica descriptiva, y contó con un diseño no experimental, formulándose la siguiente hipótesis: La reparación civil es inconsistente frente al daño causado al agraviado en los juzgados penales de Sullana, siendo el resultado al que se espera arribar demostrar que las reparaciones civiles otorgadas por los juzgados penales de Sullana resultan inconsistentes frente al daño causado al agraviado debido a que muchas veces, estas no logran resarcir el daño ocasionado al mismo. La conclusión general fue que no existe inconsistencia en la fijación de la reparación civil frente al daño causado ya que esta se encuentra debidamente normada en el código penal y el código civil. Resultado que es contrario a la hipótesis general planteada.
