description La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo general determinar el nivel de relación que existe entre la gestión ambiental y la responsabilidad social en los colaboradores de una municipalidad distrital de Chiclayo, 2022; la metodología del estudio presentó un enfoque cuantitativo, un alcance correlacional y un diseño no experimental de corte transversal; la población lo conformaron 70 colaboradores y el instrumento de recolección de datos que se aplicó fue el cuestionario de gestión ambiental y el responsabilidad social; se presentó por resultados que el 44% de los colaboradores señaló que en la institución se desarrolla un nivel bajo de gestión ambiental; asimismo, se determinó que el 46% enfatizó que en la entidad existe un nivel medio de responsabilidad social; se concluye que, entre la gestión ambiental y la responsabilidad social existe una relación significativamente fuerte, determinado por una puntuación de Rho de Spearman de 0,886 y un nivel de significancia de 0,000, destacando que, al mejorar la gestión ambiental en una municipalidad conllevará a que se mejore directamente la responsabilidad social.
