Se utilizaron dos instrumentos para recolectar los datos, uno fue la Escala de Acoso Sexual Callejero y el Cuestionario de Ansiedad Social. Los resultados revelaron una correlación bilateral significativa (p<0,005) entre las variables de estudio, así también, entre las dimensiones del acoso sexual callejero y la ansiedad social (p<0,005); por otro lado, se evidenció un predominio del nivel bajo (64.8%) en exhibicionismo y un nivel alto (40%) acoso expresivo. Se concluye que, a mayor presencia de acoso sexual callejero en las estudiantes universitarias existe mayor posibilidad de experimentar ansiedad social.
