La población y muestra estuvo conformado por 120 personas, la técnica que se utilizó fue la encuesta y como instrumento, el cuestionario. Como resultados se determinó que el nivel que prima de cada dimensión de gestión hospitalaria es: gestión por procesos, regular con 49 %; orientación al usuario y la asistencia sanitaria, regular con 54 %; Liderazgo, regular con 55 %; capital humano, regular con 53 %. El nivel de las dimensiones del SRC que prima son: nivel operativo, regular con 61; Nivel técnico profesional, regular con 48%; El nivel estructural, regular con 51%. Se concluyó que existe una relación positiva moderada y significativa entre las variables de gestión hospitalaria y sistema de referencia – contra referencia, además el 42.60 % de la gestión hospitalaria influye sobre el sistema de referencia – contra referencia.
