Se consideró una investigación básica, diseño no experimental, transversal, correlacional. La muestra definitiva fue de 35 estudiantes, los cuales respondieron a través de la técnica de encuesta. Los resultados mostraron que 48,6% de los niños tenía un nivel de logro esperado en el manejo del ritmo musical y el mismo nivel en cuanto a la psicomotricidad. En el análisis inferencial permitió evidenciar que 61,15% de los niveles de psicomotricidad estaban influenciado a partir de los niveles del ritmo musical. Se concluye que las variables están fuertemente asociadas y el grado de esta relación era significativa.
