Se trabajó con una población censal, conformada por 63 trabajadores municipales. Para el recojo de datos se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta, y mediante la aplicación de los instrumentos: Cuestionario de Gestión Municipal de Inga (2019) adaptado por Villalobos (2020) y el Cuestionario de Participación Ciudadana de Inga (2019) adaptado por Villalobos (2020), y mediante la herramienta de google form se recogieron los datos, los cuales fueron analizados mediante estadísticos descriptivos básicos y correlacionales, que fueron analizados mediante tablas de frecuencias, tablas de contingencia y la prueba no paramétrica Rho de Sperman. Entre sus resultados, predomina el nivel bueno con el 49.2% en gestión municipal y el nivel alto con el 55.6% de participación ciudadana. Concluyendo que, la relación entre la gestión municipal y la participación ciudadana es positiva alta y altamente significativa ((Rho = 0.779; p-valor = 0.000 < 0.05) en trabajadores de la Municipalidad Distrital de Santa, 2021.
