description El Plan Estratégico y la Seguridad Ciudadana, son componentes importantes respecto a la responsabilidad de los gobiernos locales en cuanto a preservar la integridad de la ciudadanía, el objetivo general fue Determinar la relación existente entre el plan estratégico y la seguridad ciudadana en el CODISEC - La Esperanza, región La Libertad, 2022, investigación de tipo aplicada de tipo interpretativo, de diseño correlacional, con una distribución poblacional de 51 miembros, con una muestra de 48 individuos, la técnica empleada fue la encuesta y el instrumento fue el cuestionario, con una distribución normal, con prueba estadística de Pearson, determinándose un coeficiente de correlación r = 0,790, la correlación es calificada como Positiva Alta. Por lo que se concluye que existe una correlación significativa entre el Plan Estratégico y la Seguridad Ciudadana en el CODISEC - La Esperanza, región La Libertad, 2022.
