El tipo de investigación fue aplicada con un enfoque cuantitativo, un diseño no experimental, correlacional de corte transversal, considerando una muestra de 51 servidores civiles. En adición, se requirió de la validación de 3 expertos en el contexto de la investigación para la recolección de datos en esta pesquisa aplicándose dos cuestionarios. Consecuentemente, esa información fue procesada y presentada mediante tablas y figuras estadísticas usando el software Microsoft Excel y el programa SPSS. Se halló que mantiene una distribución no normal gracias a la aplicación del test de Kolmogorov-Smirnov y con la prueba estadística de Spearman, arrojó como resultado que efectivamente hay un índice de relación de 0.774** cuya significancia es de 0.000. Se comprobó la hipótesis de investigación y se concluyó que hay una relación alta y significativa entre la gestión estratégica y los procedimientos de licitación pública en un Gobierno Regional.
