description Este estudio tuvo como objetivo de Determinar si las deudas sucesorias repercuten en la responsabilidad civil de los herederos en el Perú; el estudio se llevó a cabo bajo el enfoque cualitativo, diseño de la teoría fundamentada, de tipo básico, comprendiendo como participantes a 5 especialistas en Derecho Civil y derechos sucesorios; habiéndose obtenido como resultados relevantes que, no cabe duda de que el obligado es el heredero, pues, como se observa, no sólo se sucede al causante en los bienes y derechos, sino también en sus obligaciones (con las salvedades que hemos apuntado), y se concluyó que los herederos en el Perú no responden ilimitadamente por las deudas del causante, sino que su responsabilidad se limita a los bienes heredados. Esta conclusión se deriva del principio de beneficio de inventario, que protege el patrimonio personal de los herederos.
