description La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación de la cultura tributaria y las obligaciones tributarias en el Mercado San Benito, San Juan de Lurigancho en el año 2020; la investigación se realizó bajo un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo correlacional y diseño no experimental con corte transversal; debido al estado de emergencia sanitaria nacional, se utilizó una muestra no probabilística por conveniencia de 52 comerciantes, a los que se les aplicó un cuestionario con características de validez del 80.75% y confiabilidad del 92.4%. Los resultados arrojaron valores significativos (≤0.05) para la relación entre las variables (valor sig.= 0.81), también se obtuvieron valores por encima de la significancia para las dimensiones Actitudes tributarias (valor sig. =0.73), conocimiento tributario (Valor sig. = 0.532) y Valores del contribuyente (Valor sig. = 69.8). Se concluye que cuanto mayor sea el nivel de cultura tributaria en todos sus componentes, mejor se dará el cumplimiento de las obligaciones tributarias en los comerciantes.
