description El presente trabajo de investigación ha sido desarrollado con el siguiente tema: Gestión municipal y desempeño laboral en el distrito de Tres Unidos, Picota - 2021. Con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básica, con diseño no experimental, pero de nivel descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal. Su población y muestra estuvo conformado por un total de 31 trabajadores a los que se les aplicó el respectivo instrumento (cuestionario). Respecto a los resultados se encontró que, el nivel de gestión municipal es malo con un 65 %, 29 % regular y 6 % es bueno. Concluyó que, a través de Pearson se evidenció que hay una significancia bilateral (p= 0,000 < 0,01), con ello rechaza a la Ho y se acepta la Hi. Asimismo, se logró encontrar que existe una correlación de 0,854 entre gestión municipal y desempeño laboral en el distrito de Tres Unidos, Picota - 2021, lo cual significa que la correlación entre ambas es positiva alta considerable y, según el diagrama de puntos de dispersión se obtuvo una dependencia de 73 % entre ambas variables de investigación Palabras clave: gestión, política, control, gobierno, presupuest
