La metodología empleada fue el enfoque cualitativo, tipo básico y diseño de teoría fundamentada, teniendo como instrumento a la guía de entrevista aplicada a diez (10) abogados y diez (10) padres de menores migrantes de nacionalidad tanto venezolana como colombiana. Se concluyó que, el principio del interés superior de los niños, niñas y adolescentes migrantes en Piura, no está siendo efectivo, pese a la existencia de normas de rango constitucional y convencional como los tratados, es notable la vulnerabilidad de los menores inmigrantes por parte de las instituciones y autoridades encargadas de su protección.
