description En la presente investigación titulada implementación de directorio activo para la administración y gestión de seguridad de la red de área local de la E.P.S. Sedaloreto S.A.- 2022, tiene como objetivo principal la implementación de un directorio activo en la red LAN de la empresa Sedaloreto, esta se implementó mediante la plataforma de Microsoft Windows Server 2019, donde se instaló y configuro los servicios de archivos, árbol de usuarios, contraseñas, políticas de seguridad y otros, el aporte fundamental de esta investigación es que mediante la implementación del directorio activo se pudo mejorar el acceso a los sistemas informáticos, esto respecto a lograr la efectividad de la autenticación, el registro y la permisibilidad y al mismo tiempo mejorar la gestión de los recursos informáticos con el que cuenta la empresa, respecto a la disponibilidad, integridad y confidencialidad.
