Material y métodos: La presente investigación es de tipo descriptivo y retrospectivo. Se trabajó con una muestra de 1863 pacientes a quienes se le solicito la prueba antigénica al SARS-CoV-2. Para el análisis de la información se utilizó el paquete estadístico de SPSS V.25. Resultados: La seroprevalencia del SARS-CoV-2, fue de 27.48%; según el sexo el femenino 293 (57.23%), según la edad el rango más frecuente fue de 31 a 40 años con 167 (32.62%), según procedencia fue Ramón Castilla con 213 (41.60%). Conclusiones: Las pruebas antigénicas para COVID-19 funcionan al detectar la presencia de antígenos específicos del virus en una muestra de hisopado nasofaríngeo. Estas pruebas son rápidas y se pueden realizar en el lugar de atención médica, lo que las hace muy útiles para la detección temprana de la enfermedad.

The research objective was: To determine the seroprevalence of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen in patients who attend the Caballococha EsSalud II Primary Care Center from January to December 2021. Material and methods: This research is descriptive and retrospective. We worked with a sample of 1863 patients who were asked for the SARS-CoV-2 antigenic test. For the analysis of the information, the statistical package of SPSS V.25 was used. Results: The seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 was 27.48%; according to sex, 293 were female (57.23%), according to age, the most frequent range was from 31 to 40 years with 167 (32.62%), according to origin it was Ramón Castilla with 213 (41.60%). Conclusions: Antigen tests for COVID-19 work by detecting the presence of virus-specific antigens in a nasopharyngeal swab sample.
