La investigación fue de tipo descriptiva, correlacional y transversal. El estudio involucró a los 100 trabajadores del área de hospitalización de dicho nosocomio. Para la recolección de la data se emplearon los instrumentos validados de Maslach y el de Wagnild y Young. Los hallazgos encontrados mostraron correlaciones negativas media (-0.636) en las variables síndrome de burnout y la resiliencia, la correlación fue negativa media (-0.534) entre abatimiento emocional y la resiliencia, para la dimensión reserva y la resiliencia la correlación fue negativa débil (-0.437) y finalmente para la dimensión fatiga emocional y la resiliencia la correlación positiva débil (-0.292). Por lo que se concluye que existió una correlación negativa entre el síndrome de burnout y la resiliencia en los sujetos de estudio.
