The Center for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED) estimates that between 1980 and 2005, almost 80% of the natural disasters, 30% of the loss of human life and 75% of economic loss that took place in the Region were caused by hydro-meteorological conditions and hazards. In south american where agriculture, fishery and forestry contribute 12% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the success of these activities depends basically on a favourable climate A good rainy period, together with adequate temperature conditions and the absence of extreme weather, guarantee the sucess of agriculture conditions and the absence of extreme weather, guarantee the success of agricultural productions. Despite its importance, agriculture is the sector most vulnerable to natural disasters.application/htmlspaSpringer - Verlaginfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAtribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 3.0 Estados Unidos de Américahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/us/Repositorio Institucional - SENAMHIServicio Nacional de Meteorología e Hidrología del Perúreponame:SENAMHI-Institucionalinstname:Servicio Nacional de Meteorología e Hidrología del Perúinstacron:SENAMHIAgrometeorologíaHidrometeorologíaRisk ManagementReduction of Disastershttps://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#4.01.01Challenges and strategies to face agrometeorological risks and uncertainties – Regional Perspective in South Americainfo:eu-repo/semantics/bookPartCC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml; charset=utf-8811http://repositorio.senamhi.gob.pe/bitstream/20.500.12542/2044/1/license_rdf9868ccc48a14c8d591352b6eaf7f6239MD51LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain; charset=utf-81748http://repositorio.senamhi.gob.pe/bitstream/20.500.12542/2044/2/license.txt8a4605be74aa9ea9d79846c1fba20a33MD5220.500.12542/2044oai:repositorio.senamhi.gob.pe:20.500.12542/20442022-05-10 11:40:11.985Repositorio Institucional SENAMHIrepositorio@senamhi.gob.pe
