El instrumento validado fue una encuesta tipo cuestionario para medir el nivel de conocimientos y un test que utiliza una escala Likert para medir el nivel de actitudes sobre fotoprotección solar. Resultados: El estudio reveló que el 56% de los conductores posee un nivel de conocimiento medio, y el 71% de ellos, presenta buenas actitudes, así mismo, se demostró que, el nivel de conocimientos (p=0.007) y actitudes (p=0.002) varían según el grado de instrucción. Conclusiones: El nivel de conocimientos fue medio en poco más de la mitad de los conductores y predominó un nivel bueno de actitudes
