Descripción
Sumario:Currently, organizations have to deal with talent drain, high turnover and absenteeism; in other words, they face a great challenge when trying to retain staff in such uncertain circumstances. Thus, job satisfaction, positive feeling about the position held (Robbins, 2014); and employee engagement, an employee's involvement with the organization in which he works (Harter et al., 2002, as cited in Chanana & Sangeeta, 2021), play an important role in the well-being of employees. Therefore, this review aims to identify the relationship between Job Satisfaction and Job Engagement in Employees of Private Sector Organizations. For this, a systematic review was carried out based on the PRISMA guide (Page et al., 2021) in the Scopus electronic database, where ten investigations were selected, where the direct, positive and significant relationship between both variables was evidenced. In addition, some studies conclude that the greater job satisfaction, the greater employee engagement, while others refer to employee engagement as an antecedent of job satisfaction. The findings show that theaforementioned correlation promotes a state of well-being in the employees and in the role in which they perform.
