This report gives an account of the background, production, post-production and distribution of the short film Sirenas, made during February 2020. The purpose has been to explore the process of growth towards maturity from a child perspective and in a space far from the city, such as the beach, which implies adaptation to change for the protagonist and in turn a challenge for the filming. The short film managed to reflect the point of view of a girl in front of a dysfunctional environment, through acting and visual proposal, using the space of the sea as a metaphor in the process of maturing of the character. Also, from production, the recording was completed in a single day of shooting, thanks to the organization and synchronization between all areas of the team. As a result, the short film is currently being broadcast in national festivals and has received recognition in those in which it has been selected.
