Universidad de Lima, Instituto de Investigación Científica.https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12724/9812ebusta@ulima.edu.peEsta investigación busca establecer las características narrativas y estilísticas del cine independiente peruano, determinar sus modos de producción, distribución y exhibición, sus aportes al cine nacional, sus potencialidades y los principales problemas que afronta para su continuidad. El trabajo parte de que este tipo de cine plantea propuestas narrativas y estilísticas no clásicas; se realiza con bajo presupuesto y se exhibe al margen del sistema comercial de las multisalas. Este cine, en su mayoría autogestionario, ha incrementado su producción en los últimos años hasta contar con medio centenar de largos, algunos de ellos ganadores de premios nacionales e internacionales.
