Mucha de la insatisfacción actual con respecto a los procesos electorales en los países desarrollados se debe al estancamiento de los ingresos de una buena parte de la población, y en Europa obedece a la persistencia del alto desempleo. Entonces la respuesta ya tiene algún fundamento: me debe representar la persona más virtuosa, que sepa escuchar y aprender de los mejores, que no desnaturalice la democracia tomando atajos irresponsables, que sea capaz de devolvernos una razonable esperanza por un mejor porvenir, y que la idea del progreso vaya de la mano con un profundo entendimiento de la justicia como equidad: el fino y necesario equilibrio entre la libertad (política y económica) y la igualdad de oportunidades, y ante la Ley. |
