En él se presentan, de manera sintética, los aportes de los artículos del dossier especial «Bosques y desarrollo sostenible en el Perú: una mirada interdisciplinar». Incluye reflexiones sobre las gestiones y políticas que el Estado ha venido realizando; análisis de los usos que empresas y población hacen de los bosques; algunos desde una perspectiva histórica y otros con aproximaciones más actuales.
