In the same way, it warns of the specific risks of the growing FinTech industry. All of that, to be able to point out the challenges that governments face in order to regulate this matter. In addition, it exhibits various proposals from sectors of the academia for the regulation of the FinTech market. With all this, the author concludes by giving his opinion on the mentioned proposals and presents his own for the regulation of FinTech companies, developing three main stages of implementation.Ante la indudable proliferación de las empresas FinTech en el Perú y en el mundo, el presente artículo expone la situación actual del mercado de tal rubro para, a partir de ello, explorar las implicaciones legales que suponen este nuevo tipo de compañías.Con tal fin, el autor analiza cómo ha ido evolucionando el mercado digital en materia financiera y de seguros. De la misma manera, advierte los riesgos específicos de la creciente industria FinTech para poder señalar los desafíos que los gobiernos tienen por delante para regular esta materia. Asimismo, el artículo exhibe variadas propuestas de sectores de la doctrina para la regulación del mercado FinTech.
