Las grabaciones han sido realizadas en una grabadora ZOOM-H4 con un micrófono Shure WH30XLR y en formato no comprimido WAV (mono, digitalizado a un ratio de 44,100 Hz y a 16 bits). Aproximadamente el 60% de las grabaciones han sido segmentadas y anotadas usando la función de textgrid del programa PRAAT (http://www.fon.hum.uva.nl/praat/), diseñado por Paul Boersma y David Weenink. La visualización de las referidas anotaciones requiere, por tanto, la instalación de PRAAT, que es un software gratuito (las anotaciones han sido realizadas en alfabeto sampa (http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/sampa/index.html). Los datos incluidos en esta colección pueden emplearse para cualquier tipo de empresa académica, desde la elaboración de artículos o libros científico hasta la preparación de clases o sesiones de aprendizaje, con el único requisito de incluir referencias explícitas a la fuente.Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
