Sumario:Objective: To determine the effect of autogenous drainage on expiratory flow in Naval Hospital patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Perú, 2020. Materials and methods: The present study is observational - descriptive - longitudinal, single cohort - prospective, a population was evaluated of 51 patients between adults and older adults with COPD. The measurement is obtained with the flow meter (l / m) which gave us the PEF (maximum expiratory flow) to obtain the degree of obstruction when performing autogenous drainage. Four measurements were made before and after performing autogenous drainage in the first and last session. Results: When determining the degree of obstruction before the intervention in the first session, it was found that out of 51 patients, 15 of them had a degree of obstruction of COPD (mild), 36 degree of obstruction of COPD (moderate) and in the Last session (tenth session) it is shown that of 51 patients, 10 remain with a degree of COPD obstruction (moderate), 41 of them have a degree of COPD obstruction (mild), obtaining a measured p <0.000 as a result with Student's T, showing a significant difference between the first session and the tenth session as autogenous drainage was performed. Conclusions: It was evidenced that when performing autogenous drainage there is an improvement for patients with COPD between the first and last intervention session.
