The guinea pigs that received the supplement showed a significant weight increase (1040.30 g compared to 967 g in the control group), as well as an improvement in feed conversion. This study suggests that the use of phytobiotics is a viable alternative to antibiotics, improving both productive efficiency and sustainability in guinea pig farming.La presente investigación busca evaluar el uso de un fitobiótico en la fase de engorde de cuyes (Cavia porcellus) mediante la predicción de su impacto en la ganancia de peso, consumo de alimento y conversión alimenticia. Se desarrolló un modelo predictivo basado en la regresión lineal para estimar los beneficios del fitobiótico. Los cuyes que recibieron el suplemento mostraron un incremento de peso significativo (1040.30 g frente a 967 g en el grupo control), así como una mejora en la conversión alimenticia.
