Theyears 2021, 2022 and 2023 were filtered. The selected articles corresponded to the type of review with open access. The information was analyzed using the PRISMA methodology.Thirty-two articles were identified and four were finally analyzed, corresponding to 2022 and 2023. The CE based on technological innovation considers, a traceability thatstarts with a management thinking of eco-efficient processes through sanitation and use of treated resources, distribution of marked use, consumption and optimal deposit and recycling. After 2018 none of the four articles showed matching referential citations. It is concluded, that CE is described from a variety of analyses that enable efficient and sustainable use of resources.El objetivo del estudio fue describir la ingeniería economía circular mediante un análisis sistemático desde la ciencia abierta. El estudio se realizó en octubre de 2023. Mediante la base de datos ScienceDirect se introdujo la ecuación de búsqueda con signos booleanos siguiente: “circular economy model” AND “technological innovation” AND “development”.Se filtraron los años 2021, 2022 y 2023. Los artículos seleccionados correspondieron al tipo de revisión con acceso abierto. El análisis de la información fue con la metodología PRISMA. Se identificaron 32 artículos donde se analizaron finalmente, cuatro que correspondieron dos al 2022 y 2023.La EC con base en la innovación tecnológica considera, una trazabilidad que inicia con un pensamiento de gestión de procesos ecoeficientes mediante el saneamiento y uso de recursos tratados, distribución de uso marcado, consumo y depósito y reciclaje óptimo. Después del 2018 ninguno de los cuatro artículos mostró citas referenciales de coincidencia.
