With this, reflection becomes analysis towards future thinking, where nursing care is in more promising contexts to practice the profession with accessible and feasible ideals. The objective is to prospectively analyze the image of the nursing professional in the health care area in 2030 and to invite reflection on the proposal of this target image shown in this work.En la práctica clínica de enfermería, surgen retos que permiten a los profesionales reflexionar y motivarse por una constante búsqueda de mejoras que contribuyan a aumentar la calidad de la atención a la salud que se brinda a la población de un país, estado y/o localidad. Con esto, la reflexión se vuelve análisis hacia el pensamiento futuro, donde la atención de enfermería se encuentre en contextos más prometedores para ejercer la profesión con ideales accesibles y factibles.
