On the other hand, this research had a non-experimental design since only the behavior of said study phenomenon was observed without manipulating the translation strategies variable. Finally, the logical inductive method was used in the analysis of the samples. The most frequently used translation strategies were completely rewriting the lyrics of the song with 35% and adapting the translation to the original music with 30%. One conclusion that can be drawn would be that Franzon’s translation strategies used in the Spanish dubbing of the songs from the movie Toy Story 2 were to completely rewrite the lyrics of the song, adapt the translation to the original music, translate the lyrics without taking into account the music and translate the lyrics and adapt the musicEl presente artículo tiene como objetivo identificar las estrategias de traducción de Franzon empleadas en el doblaje al español de las canciones de la película Toy Story 2. Se trató de una investigación descriptiva ya que se identificaron los diferentes tipos de estrategias de Franzon y su frecuencia de aparición. Por otro lado, esta investigación fue de diseño no experimental ya que solamente se observó el comportamiento de dicho fenómeno de estudio sin manipular la variable estrategias de traducción. Finalmente, se utilizó el método lógico inductivo en el análisis de las muestras. Las estrategias de traducción que se han empleado con mayor frecuencia fueron reescribir la letra de la canción por completo con un 35% y adaptar la traducción a la música original con un 30%.
