In this sense, the objective was to continue reviewing and disseminating health-related articles published in the Diario El Comercio, Lima, Peru. It was found that newspapers play an important role in disseminating news related to health due to their accessibility because, in many cases, they learn about medical treatments through them. In this sense, health news should be taken from reliable sources to contribute to people's adequate information. Keywords: diary – healthcare professionals – health sciences – scientific research – topic choicePara interpretar la realidad y obtener resultados confi ables, se necesita que la investigación científi ca tenga un método válido para que los datos sean consistentes y que puedan explicar un fenómeno o problema de estudio. El tal sentido, el objetivo fue continuar con la revisión y difusión de artículos relacionados a salud publicados en el Diario El Comercio, de Lima, Perú. Se encontró que, los diarios juegan un papel importante en la difusión de noticias relacionadas a la salud por su accesibilidad, debido a que, en muchos casos, se enteran mediante ellos de los tratamientos médicos. En tal sentido, las noticias sobre salud deben tomarse de fuentes confiables para contribuir a una adecuada información de las personas.
