It accepts the premise about the constitutional intention of not creating a consultation on the ratification of the mandate; likewise, based on a logical investigation on the implications of considering «revocation» and «ratification» as two contrary concepts, it tries to demonstrate that giving the people a choice only between revoking and not revoking, due to the indeterminacy that the latter option casts on the trust in politicians, is what comes closest to the constitutional model to exercise the right to express an opinion on the matter. En el presente trabajo se refutan los argumentos que llevaron al Tribunal Constitucional de México a no invalidar la pregunta y las respuestas objeto del mecanismo de revocación de mandato en ese país. Acoge la premisa acerca de la intención constitucional de no crear una consulta sobre la ratificación del mandato y, a partir de una investigación lógica sobre las implicaciones de considerar la «revocación» y la «ratificación» como dos conceptos contrarios, intenta demostrar que dar a la ciudadanía a elegir únicamente entre revocar y no revocar, por la indeterminación que esta última opción arroja respecto de la confianza en los políticos, es lo que más se aproxima al modelo constitucional para ejercer el derecho a opinar al respecto.
