A survey guide with 2 thematic sections of 7 items was applied to 110 respondents, its application being as follows; 78 virtual and 32 in-person, in the first cycles of the Basic Studies Program of the Ricardo Palma University, between the 2021-2, 2022.1 and 2022-2 semesters of both sexes between 16 and 25 years of age. The results indicate thatCOVID-19 regularly affected the economic and family aspects, health due to the contagion of the disease, and mental health. The measures adopted by the University during the context have been as expected and have been taken positively, both from the institutional side and from the teachers and students. Likewise, the response of students to teaching-learning has been as expected, in the development of virtual education.La presente investigación ha tenido como objetivo, conocer el impacto de la pandemia COVID-19 en la Universidad Ricardo Palma. Es unestudio de metodología mixta, de tipo exploratorio-descriptivo. Se aplicó una guía de encuesta con 2 apartados temáticos de 7 ítems, a 110 encuestados, siendo su aplicación de la siguiente manera; 78 virtuales y 32 presenciales, en los primeros ciclos del Programa de Estudios Básicos de la Universidad Ricardo Palma, entre los semestres 2021-2, 2022.1 y 2022-2 de ambos sexos comprendidos entre los 16 y 25 años de edad. Los resultados indican que la COVID-19 afectó de manera regular en el aspecto económico, familiar, en la salud por el contagio de la enfermedad, y en la salud mental. Las medidas adoptadas por la Universidad durante el contexto han sido las esperadas y se ha tomado de manera positiva, tanto desde lo institucional, como desde los docentes y estudiantes.
