In this research, we will try to answer these questions. And, finally, we will argue why César Vallejo is a universal poet.En los últimos años ha aumentado extraordinariamente el interés por conocer los detalles biográficos y la producción poética de César Vallejo, tanto en el Perú como en el extranjero. Y este interés no solamente se produce en los ámbitos académicos, sino entre los lectores en general, incluyendo a personas mayores, adolescentes y niños. ¿Qué aspectos de la vida del poeta llaman la atención de los lectores en pleno siglo XXI? ¿Cuáles son los poemas más leídos actualmente? ¿Cómo se explica la vigencia de la obra poética, narrativa, ensayística y teatral en momentos en que el mundo vive una etapa de pos-COVID-19?
