The assessment of China’s importance to Peru was much greater than thatof Russia. Regarding preferences, 56.77% of respondents would be inclined to carryout postgraduate studies in Russia versus 43.22% in China; 54.82% also consideredthat Russia was more important than China in the profession studied; and 55.41%granted more value to a PhD in a Russian university than to one obtained in China(44.59%). Drugs (65.84%), automobiles (63.76%) and Russian toys (54.73%) weremore preferred than Chinese, but, on the contrary, TVs (61.61%), laptops (54.35%) andrefrigerators (52.30%) Chinese obtained higher percentages of preference.Una muestra de 610 universitarios (265 hombres y 345 mujeres, entre 17 y 29 añosde edad) residentes en Lima Metropolitana respondió a una encuesta acerca de laimportancia de Rusia y China para el Perú; asimismo, sobre su condición de potenciaspolíticas y militares en la actualidad, hasta el 2050, así como sus preferencia porproductos chinos y rusos. La valoración de la importancia de China para el Perú fuemucho mayor que la de Rusia. En materia de preferencias, 56.77% de los encuestadosse inclinaría por llevar a cabo estudios de postgrado en Rusia, 43.22% en China;54.82% consideró asimismo que Rusia era más importante que China en la profesiónque estudiaba; y 55.41% concedió más valor a un doctorado en una universidadrusa que a uno obtenido en China (44.59%).
