Method: The research is a form of applied research, because it is aimed at the application of knowledge to the solution of a problem, as confronting theory with reality. It is also a kind of Socio Legal Research by the facts and relations of social order regulated by legal norms are studied and why is to determine the effectiveness of measures to protect children and adolescents that are issued in the Family Courts Superior Court of Justice of Tacna child abuse in 2009- 2010. It is a non-experimental (ex post facto) Description Design - Explanatory. For this purpose the information obtained through the application of the questionnaire, document analysis was considered; and the Certificate of Interview; as instruments for measuring the variables studied. Results: The data were tabulated and analyzed using charts and graphs. Once the phase of analysis and interpretation of the results matter research hypothesis was verified. Conclusions: The results allowed us to know that children and adolescents have been subjected to physical abuse (hitting, beating, kicking, shakings); they have also been subjected to sexual violence (attempted rape, improper touching, and rape). As psychological and emotional abuse: movement restrictions, the continued depreciation, guilt, threats, acts of terror, discrimination or ridicule were some of the abuses to which they were subjected. Finally, it must have been neglect or abandonment by their parents; They neglected as health, education, emotional development, nutrition, home and safe living conditions of children under study

Finally, it must have been neglect or abandonment by their parents; They neglected as health, education, emotional development, nutrition, home and safe living conditions of children under studyObjetivo: El presente trabajo de investigación se llevó a cabo con el propósito determinar la eficacia de las medidas de protección de niños, niñas y adolescentes que se emiten en los Juzgados de Familia de la Corte Superior de Justicia de Tacna, en el maltrato infantil, 2009-2010.Para ello se estableció la siguiente hipótesis: En los Juzgados de Familia de la Corte Superior de Justicia de Tacna, las medidas de protección de niños, niñas y adolescentes que se emiten son ineficaces para contrarrestar el maltrato infantil en el distrito de Tacna, 2009-2010. Método: La forma de investigación es una Investigación Aplicada, porque está orientada en la aplicación de los conocimientos a la solución de un problema, pues confronta la teoría con la realidad. También es un tipo de Investigación Socio Jurídica por que se estudian los hechos y relaciones de orden social reguladas por normas jurídicas y por qué se pretende determinar la eficacia de las medidas de protección de niños, niñas y adolescentes que se emiten en los Juzgados de Familia de la Corte Superior de Justicia de Tacna en el maltrato infantil, 2009-2010. Es un Diseño no experimental (ex post facto) Descriptivo - Explicativo. Para tal propósito se consideró la información obtenida a través de la aplicación del Cuestionario, el Análisis Documental; y, la Cédula de Entrevista; como instrumentos de medición de las variables a estudio. Resultados: Los datos obtenidos se tabularon y analizaron mediante cuadros y gráficos. Una vez finalizada la fase de análisis e interpretación de los resultados se comprobó la hipótesis materia de la investigación. Conclusiones: Los resultados nos ha permitido conocer que los niño, niñas y adolescentes han sido sometidos a maltrato físico (golpes, palizas, patadas, zarandeos); asimismo han sido sometidos a violencia sexual (intento de violación, tocamientos indebidos, y violación). En cuanto maltrato Psicológico y Emocional: las restricciones de movimientos, el menosprecio continuado, la culpabilización, las amenazas, los actos de terror, la discriminación o ridiculización han sido algunos de los maltratos a los que fueron sometidos.
