In this context, small-scale production units require efficient monitoring systems to optimize critical variables such as temperature and humidity. This study presents the design and simulation of an accessible IoT platform for monitoring these variables in controlled agricultural environments, using the Wokwi and Adafruit IO tools. The proposed system integrates the DHT22 sensor, which provides accurate and low-cost measurements, with the ESP32 microcontroller, offering built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. Real-time data transmission is achieved through the MQTT protocol, known for its lightweight structure and efficiency in low-bandwidth networks. The system was virtually validated through simulations on the Wokwi platform prior to physical implementation. Adafruit IO was used for remote data reception and visualization. This solution offers a practical, scalable, and cost-effective alternative aimed at strengthening agricultural management through the adoption of emerging technologies.La agricultura moderna enfrenta el desafío de incorporar tecnologías que mejoren la productividad y el control ambiental, especialmente en zonas rurales donde el acceso a soluciones avanzadas es limitado. En este contexto, las unidades productivas de pequeña escala requieren sistemas de monitoreo eficientes que permitan optimizar variables críticas como la temperatura y la humedad. Este estudio presenta el diseño y simulación de una plataforma IoT accesible para el monitoreo de dichas variables en ambientes agrícolas controlados, utilizando las herramientas Wokwi y Adafruit IO. La propuesta integra el sensor DHT22, que ofrece mediciones precisas y de bajo costo, junto con el microcontrolador ESP32, el cual brinda conectividad Wi-Fi integrada. Para la transmisión de datos en tiempo real se emplea el protocolo MQTT, reconocido por su ligereza y eficiencia en redes de bajo ancho de banda. La simulación del sistema en la plataforma Wokwi permitió validar su funcionalidad previa a una implementación física. A su vez, Adafruit IO se utilizó para la recepción y visualización remota de los datos ambientales.
