The results showed that a high percentage of the teachers used to use the virtual learning environment “Peru Educa platform” but a large majority didn’t use the steps to carry out research work. In addition, they did not elaborate educative materials in collaborative work platforms not even used reliable bibliographic referencesEste articulo contribuye a determinar la influencia del uso de los Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizaje en el desarrollo de las Competencias Investigativas en los docentes del nivel Primario y Secundario de la Educación Básica Regular de la ciudad de Tacna. Se optó por seguir una metodología mixta, cuya muestra fue de 70 docentes a los cuales se les aplicó una encuesta para medir las dimensiones de los entornos virtuales y una entrevista para medir las dimensiones de las competencias investigativas.
