Method: This established the following hypothesis: In Tacna district applying criminal sanctions may significantly influence the offenses of aggravated robbery and aggravated robbery. The research is a form of applied research, is also a kind of Socio Legal Research that examines the events and social relations regulated by legal rules and that is to determine the incidence of criminal punishment for the crimes of aggravated robbery and aggravated robbery in the district of Tacna. For this purpose we considered the information obtained through the questionnaire, document analysis, and the Certificate of Interview. Result: After the phase of analysis and interpretation of results determined the incidence of the application of criminal sanctions in offenses of aggravated robbery and aggravated robbery in the district of Tacna. Conclusions: The criminal penalties for crimes of aggravated robbery and aggravated robbery are inadequately enforced in the district of Tacna.Objetivo: El presente trabajo de investigación se llevó a cabo con el propósito de determinar la incidencia de la aplicación de la sanción penal en la comisión de los delitos de hurto agravado y robo agravado en el distrito de Tacna. Método: Para ello se estableció la siguiente hipótesis: En el distrito de Tacna la aplicación de la sanción penal incide significativamente en la comisión de los delitos de hurto agravado y robo agravado. La forma de investigación es una Investigación Aplicada, también es un tipo de Investigación Socio Jurídica por que se estudian los hechos y relaciones de orden social reguladas por normas jurídicas y por que se pretende determinar la incidencia de la sanción penal en los delitos de hurto agravado y robo agravado en el distrito de Tacna. Para tal propósito se consideró la información obtenida a través de la aplicación del Cuestionario, el Análisis Documental; y, la Cédula de Entrevista. Resultados: se determinó la incidencia de la aplicación de la sanción penal en la comisión de los delitos de hurto agravado y robo agravado en el distrito de Tacna. Conclusiones: Las sanciones penales en los delitos de hurto agravado y robo agravado se encuentran aplicadas inadecuadamente en el distrito de Tacna.
