On the other hand, there is the Quality Management System, that aims to pursue the objectives, increase the competitiveness of the organization and achieve customer satisfaction; it can be implemented by different models; this article will address the International Standard ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems, which has as one of its principles the approach to processes that promote continuous improvement of the product or service. This article aims to theoretically base the influence of ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems on Process Management and for that effect the bibliographic review method has been used. It will also help public organizations as it focuses on public administration.En aras de modernizar la gestión pública, en el último siglo, se han empezado a aplicar algunos modelos de gestión, para alcanzar sus objetivos; como, la Gestión por Procesos que concibe a la organización como un sistema interrelacionado; además, busca generar valor en los productos y servicios que satisfagan las necesidades del cliente a través de la mejora continua. Por otro lado, el Sistema de Gestión de la Calidad que se orienta a perseguir los objetivos, incrementar la competitividad de la organización y conseguir la satisfacción del cliente; puede ser implementado mediante diferentes modelos; el presente artículo abordará la Norma Internacional ISO 9001: Sistemas de gestión de la calidad, la cual tiene como uno de sus principios el enfoque a procesos que promueve la mejora continua del producto o servicio. El presente artículo pretende fundamentar teóricamente la influencia de la Norma ISO 9001: Sistemas de Gestión de la Calidad en la Gestión por Procesos, para cuyo efecto se ha utilizado el método de revisión bibliográfica.
