Based on the perception of the students, this study analyzes whether the Beca 18 Program implements the approach and application of an intercultural educational experience in the development of the career of its scholarship holders. It also analyzes whether the tutoring area of the Institute develops a socioemotional and academic accompaniment by applying activities that revalue the intercultural component of its scholarship holders. The methodology used was qualitative, with an interpretative design. The population for this study were the students of the Beca 18 program of the International Business Administration career of the CERTUS Institute.A representative sample was not contemplated; the use of the questionnaire to carry out the semi-structured interviews was evaluated.Among the conclusions, it was found that the Beca 18 program does not contemplate in the design of its tutoring guidelines, a sociocultural and intercultural strategy for scholarship holders who migrate to the capital to integrate into a different culture. Likewise, the Institute does not develop an intercultural educational strategy for its scholarship holders through the development of culturally relevant content. It was also concluded that despite the cultural diversity of the scholarship holders, the Institute's tutoring area does not develop activities that identify, value and disseminate interculturality, because this would mean including it in the programming and giving it specialized treatment. |

Teniendo como referencia, la percepción de los estudiantes, el presente estudio analiza si el Programa Beca 18 realiza la ejecución del enfoque y aplicación de una experiencia educativa intercultural en el desarrollo de la carrera de sus becarios. Así mismo, analiza si el área de tutoría del Instituto desarrolla un acompañamiento socioemocional y académico aplicando actividades que revaloren el componente intercultural de sus becarios. La metodología utilizada fue de tipo cualitativa, con un diseño interpretativo. La población para este estudio fueron los estudiantes del programa Beca 18 de la carrera de Administración de Negocios Internacionales del Instituto de Educación Superior Tecnológico Privado CERTUS. No se contempló una muestra representativa. Se valoró el uso del cuestionario para realizar las entrevistas semiestructuradas y se utilizó la técnica de la observación participante.Entre las conclusiones, se halló que el programa Beca 18 no contempla en el diseño de sus lineamientos de tutoría una estrategia sociocultural e intercultural para los becarios que migran a la capital a integrarse a una cultura diferente. Así mismo, el Instituto no desarrolla una estrategia educativa intercultural para sus becarios mediante el desarrollo de contenidos con pertinencia cultural. También se pudo concluir que a pesar de la diversidad cultural de los becarios, el área de tutoría del Instituto no desarrolla actividades que identifiquen, valoren y difundan la interculturalidad, porque ello significaría incluirlo en la programación y darle un tratamiento especializado.
