The known theoretical approaches (structural and generative) have showed effectiveness in analyzing some languages (e.g. English) in the sentence level as a top projection; but communication is actually developed in post-sentencelevel units; we mean that grammar rules go beyond sentence structures. In Peru, as well as other american countries in this continent, languages have agglutinant structures, and combined syntax typology. These ones require different approaches in the strict sense of the Text Grammar. It is important to precise the difference of this approach because there are other approaches that lead us to literature analysis or, exclusively, to pragmatism.El estudio del texto como unidad lingüística transoracional en la gramática de las lenguas aún es objeto poco estudiado. Los modelos de análisis oracional (estructural y generativo) han sido aplicados con bastante efectividad en lenguas occidentales, especialmente, en el inglés; pero la comunicación real se produce en unidades semánticas mayores en la oración; es decir, las reglas gramaticales de la lengua no terminan en la descripción y función de estructuras frasales, sino textuales. En el Perú, como en otros países de América, hay lenguas aglutinantes y de tipologías mixtas que requieren de modelos de análisis diferentes como la gramática textual. Estas lenguas necesitan diferentes enfoques en el estricto sentido de una Gramática Textual. Por ello, es importante precisar la diferencia de este enfoque ya que existen otros que conducen al análisis literario o, exclusivamente, a la pragmática.O estudo do texto como uma unidade linguística trans-sentencial na gramática dos idiomas ainda é pouco estudado. Os modelos de análise de frases (estruturais e generativas) têm sido aplicados com bastante eficácia nas línguas ocidentais, especialmente em inglês; mas a comunicação real se dá em unidades semânticas maiores na frase; ou seja, as regras gramaticais da língua não terminam na descrição e função das estruturas das frases, mas nas estruturas textuais. No Peru, como em outros países americanos, existem línguas aglutinativas e tipologias mistas que requerem diferentes modelos de análise, como a gramática textual. Essas línguas precisam de diferentes abordagens no sentido estrito de uma gramática textual.
