Using this too!and t1ow visualization, the near wake structures are identified. Thus the interference of the shear !ayer with the stabilizer has a noticeable influence on the wake characteristics.Las modificaciones del flujo generadas por la presencia de una placa de separación colocada detrás de un medio-cilindro en comparación con la formación de la estela en ausencia de. la placa han sido estudiadas. Para números de Reynolds moderados, los coeficientes de correlación espaciales y temporales calculados a partir de los campos de velocidades medidos por Velocimetría de Imágenes de Partículas (PIV) se utilizan para analizar la dinámica compleja de lqs flujos y destacar los mecanismos •de la formación de los vórtices. Usando estas herramientas y el método de visualización del flujo, se han identificado las estructuras de la estela cercana.
