El texto aborda el patrimonio cultural del valle bajo del río Chillón, desde una perspectiva multidisciplinaria: arqueología, historia, arquitectura y educación. Se presenta la historia y situación actual de los monumentos arqueológicos, virreinales y republicanos de la zona estudiada.
