From the perspective of political philosophy, the concept of «androgyny» stands as a tool of radical political subversion, by questioning systems of power and sexual identities established as gender categories. Toril Moi —in his deconstructive analysis— conceives androgyny as a disruptive element that challenges sexual binarism and, therefore, fixed identities. This proposal conceives the androgyne not as a static result, but as a constant process of resignification. The fluidification of gender invites us to explore new ways of «understanding» and «being» («inhabiting») the body. Androgynous politics, in this sense, is configured as a subversive practice that challenges traditional orders of power. It is precisely this disruptive trait that will be the focus of attention.
